The Westie has a steady disposition and fits in well with family life in the country or an apartment in the city. Once you give your heart and home to a Westie you will have a devoted family member for life. They get along well with children and are a wonderful companion.

The Westie loves to play and have a good time, they also have a charming personality and like to show their affection. The Westie also likes to please their keepers and have a very happy outlook on life. The have a sparkle in their dark brown eyes and are remarkably intelligent animals with a very alert and independent spirit.

Westies need a lot of time and love, but will return love ten fold. The Westie is extremely trainable; give them time and patience and you will reap the rewards of that training for life.
